New Direction Bluegrass is returning to the Sunset Theatre! Founding member, Bobby Gales (banjo, guitar), started playing back in the mid 90's. He currently enjoys sharing his knowledge of guitar, banjo, and bass as a teacher with his music students. Bobby's wife, Charity, plays upright bass and sings lead/harmony vocals. Sarah Walters is a very talented fiddle player who also has a powerful voice for lead and harmony vocals. She comes from the bluegrass gospel group "The Walters Family." Sarah brings lots of energy to the group! Guitar player, Brice Hursey, is one of the best pickers around. Brice is versatile on the guitar, mastering multiple styles including flat and finger picking. Come on out to the Sunset and enjoy this talented, uplifting bluegrass group!
